Objective: This paper deals with the effects of walking exercise on thecardiopulmonary endurance of40-50year-old city people who has low physicalactivities by interposing their8weeks of walking exercise. The paper can providereference and theory basis for the scientific fitness of middle-aged people. Methods: Randomly selected Sevenlipu community and Baoshan community40-59years old middle-aged man as the object of study, through the questionnairesurvey and worn accelerometer, screening of40-59years old with low level ofphysical activity in healthy middle age people about30names. Which will subjectswere classified as aged40-49and50-59years of age for15people. The experimentalfor8weeks of fitness for a brisk walk exercise group, take exercise every week5times, each time exercise time for60minutes, the first2weeks is the adaptationperiod strength can be relatively small number. Before and after the experiment ofindex of each test, testing indexes include indexes related to quiet heart rate, heart rate, heart rate, blood pressure, vital capacity recovery period, maximal oxygen uptake. Results: The experimental group of40-49years old after8weeks of walkingexercise compared with that before exercise, resting heart rate, heart rate in1and2ofthe load and recovery period immediately and third minutes of heart rate hadsignificant difference (P<0.05). Before and after exercise compared with bloodpressure have a significant difference (P<0.05). Compared indexes were improved toa certain extent the level of lung function and exercise before, with a significantdifference(P<0.01). Maximal oxygen uptake level(VO2max)compared with that beforeexercise has significant difference(P<0.05), further verify the vigorous walk to lowphysical level of40-49years old middle-aged cardiorespiratory endurance levelimproved, show the effects of walking on cardiopulmonary endurance level hascertain positive role. Conclusion: Through the strength of the8week brisk walking exercisefound correlation indies could improve40-49years and50-59years old middle-agedcardiorespiratory endurance level, improve the middle-aged person’s heart and andlung function, not only to enhance physical fitness, health promotion, delay aging, butalso entertain, enrich the spiritual life. At the same time also plays an important role inthe prevention of hypertension and cardiovascular disease, so as to provide scientificbasis for future health.
