A Current Situation Research On The Campus Security Management And Its Countermeasures In Primary And Middle Schools

Campus has always been considered a children’s paradise. But in recentyears, with various social problems continue to emerge, the rapid spreadof the news media, more and more exposed to security incidents on campusin front of us. The number of the incidents is too huge to shock us.Campus security incidents not only affect the normal order ofschool‘s teaching, but also be serious harm to the interests of thestudents’ families and disrupt social harmony. So how to strengthen themanagement of campus security, in safe and healthy environment tocultivate the next generation of the motherland, has great realisticsignificance.Primary and secondary schools’ Security has some particularity. Thefirst of all, in this age of the kids’ physical in immaturity, on theother hand, they have limited cognitive psychology, lack of ability todistinguish things, and easy to be influenced by the outside world, theircharacter and personality hasn’t be setting. Coupled with today’ssociety have become increasingly prominent, the aftermath of the economiccrisis has not yet be subsided. In this context, we have to move away theclouds in order to see the sky. We have to find the inevitability behindthe existence from the campus security incidents in seemingly accidental.The aim of this article is to find out the inadequacies of existingcampus security management and appropriate countermeasures by using public safety management theory and combined with the current status ofthe community. It is recommended to optimize the management system to makethe pupils have a safe and happy environment for the growth of the campus,while ensuring the continuation of the motherland nascent powers ofstrength.This paper has six main parts. The first part introduces the purposeand significance, literature review, theoretical tools and researchmethods topics. The second part analyzes the connotation of primary andsecondary school campus security management features and significance.The third part analyzes the types and causes of accidents in primary andsecondary schools. The fourth part analyzes the primary and secondaryschool safety management problems: school is a lack of security awareness,lack of security management, lack of safety education students, and lackof ability to cope with the incident handling. On the other hand,government is lack of the existence of legislation the problem, lack ofcoordination and cooperation between the various departments, lack offunding for school safety management, and lack of safety training littleeducation team. The fifth part presents the management of primary andsecondary campus security countermeasures and suggestions: Schools canimprove campus security system, improve students’ safety education,improve school emergency incident response capabilities and strengthenthe safety of teachers and students. On the other hand, government shouldimprove relevant laws and regulations, strengthen the sectorcollaboration, increase education funding, and ensuring the safetyeducation and training of teachers.
