With China’s prosperous economic developing and diversity of trade in multipleaspects, the cooperation in politics, economy and culture between China and SouthKorea has been reaching to a higher level. Consequently, learning and knowingChinese has already become a popularity among Koreans. Under this strong influence,China and South Korea signed a treaty about publicizing Chinese in2012. It has been3years since then. Luckily, author was chosen to be a Chinese volunteer teacher sentto Hwasun Middle School (Jeolla, South Korea) to work with the local Koreanteachers to teach Chinese for11months. By having the personally teachingexperience, author has generally understood the whole situation about the Chineseclasses in Korea. Therefore, author could write this dissertation depending on thedatum collected in Korea.This dissertation includes five parts. The following are the briefings:(1) Introduction. It mainly introduces the significance, the researching objectsand the method of this paper.(2) Research summary. By reading the related articles about analyzing Chineseclasses in Korea, author summarizes these previous studies.(3) Main part of this dissertation. On the basis of oral Chinese classes in HwasunMiddle School, author respectively analyses the teaching system, the local teachers,the teaching books and the Korean students. By using questionnaire and colleting therelated datum, author has a more thorough understanding about the Chinese classes inKorea. Lastly, author proposes some advice to improve the practice, the teaching books, and the methods.(4) Suggestion. According to the TCSL teaching philosophy and methodology,author picks up the suitable teaching philosophy and methodology which could tacklethe related teaching problems.(5) A teaching design. Considering about the practical experience, authordesigns an oral Chinese class.By the personal experience, author makes several suggestions about theChinese classes in Korea. And also, guided by TCSL teaching philosophy andmethodology, author designs a Chinese class. Hopefully, all these datum and advisescould benefit the developing of publicizing Chinese in Korea.
