Research On The New Media’s Influence On College Students’Ideological And Political Education And Its Countermeasures

As a carrier of undergraduate ideological and political education, new media shoulder important responsibilities of undergraduate ideological and political education. Compared with the traditional media, because of its fast spreading, informative, content-rich, wide coverage, easy to use and highly interactive features, new media has become important channels for college students to access to information and interpersonal communication and has a significant impact on the ideas, learning and life of college students. The use of new media brings a uncommon opportunity to the ideological and political education workers, further enriches the theoretical system of ideological and political education and improves the timeliness of educational practice; But as the new media brings convenience and a positive impact to the students in learning and life, at the same time, it also poses a serious challenge to the ideological and political education of college students and has affected the growth trajectory of students due to the new media’s unique information dissemination characteristics. Therefore, learning, mastering new media and actively explore new ways and methods to carry out ideological and political education has become an important issue facing the management of universities.Initiating with the specific meaning of the new ideological and political education under the conditions of the new media, this paper explored the importance of ideological and political education of college under the new media background. Through analysis of the present situation of the use of new media by colleges and universities in ideological and political education, we discussed the achievements as well as the challenges and bottlenecks encountered of ideological and political education in the context of new media. We explored the use of new media to build college’s ideological and political education under the new media background platform to enhance and brainstorm the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The first part acts as the theoretical basis for the full text. Starting from the background, theoretical significance and application value, some research and theory of ideological and political education in the context of new media at home and abroad were sorted. While detailed its analysis using comparative analysis method, we tried to break through the traditional ideological and political educational methods to achieve practical results. Being the cornerstone and support, this first part of the paper built the theoretical groundwork for expanded well below.The second part cut into the form of the development of the ideological and political education. We analyzed the development characteristics and the development carrier contact with new media. By drawing on previous studies, we explored in depth the nature of the new media acting as the ideological and political education support for university student and boldly summarized theories relating to ideological and political education of new media.The third part is the focus of this paper, by analyzing how the college students use new media to illustrate the new media thinking on college students, learning and life. We mainly analyzed the positive impact and the impact of influence and how do universities use new media to affect student life and learning.The forth part describes the positive impact of new media on enhancing ideological and political education of college students. Through comprehensive analysis of the above, from a macro point of view, we put forward measures to strengthen the positive impact of new media on the ideological and political education.
