Teaching autonomy reflects teachers dominant position.It’s a link of studentsself-development,teachers’ professional promotion and school improvement.Teachingautonomy in the classroom is related to the smooth progress of the curriculum reform.This paper is a research focusing on teaching autonomy and its practice.Teaching autonomy is necessary for teachers to achieve the conversion of powerto right.It can help teachers achieve individual freedom,a nd it is a way to professionalhappiness.This article attempts to divide the teaching autonomy into reproduction ofteaching content,reconstruction of teaching methods and innovation of evaluationcriteria from the perspective of classroom.On the basis of interviews and observations,I make a teaching autonomyquestionnaire,and using SPSS20.0to analyze the relevant data.The results are asfollowing: The overall level of teaching autonomy is relatively higher,and less internaldifferences.It is basically positively correlated with seniority.There were significantdifferences in teaching autonomy among different teaching stage s;high schoolteachers teaching automy is lower, and it is significantly different with both middleschool and primary school teachers.There were no significant difference in differentacademic degree or different gender.The achievement of teaching autonomy is influenced from the internal andexternal factors.Internally,it is the constraint of the level of teachers professionaldevelopment.External,it is mainly for the features of the student’s age,the promotionand fetters of the curriculum management model,the limiting of the examination andevaluation system.Better achievement of teaching autonomy requires teachers, schools, and evenrelevant education departments and administrative agencies to work together tooptimize the teachers working environment.Externally,to build an "ecosystem" ofsecurity and restriction is necessary;it is important to create a "micro-environment ofmanagement and service.Internally,the teacher must constantly strive to go beyond the refinement autonomy and symbiosis "internal environment".Specifically,it is tostrengthen the teaching autonomous awareness,enhance the abilities of teachingautonomy,positively implement autonomous teaching practices.
