Headteachers are the professionals under the current education system in our country,playing an important role in shaping the class culture,training students’ personality andindividuality development.Education researchers regard headteachers as the object ofthe theory research, have formed the quite rich theory, and the thought of headteacherprofessional development improved the studies of “headteachersâ€to new height.Complete people are the work objects for headteachers. If having no completeprofessional knowledge and professional skills, headteachers can not competent andmake realizing the goal of class management, promoting the all-round development ofstudents become empty talk. Because of the special status and role of headteachers inschool education, we must highly pay attention to the professional development anddegree of change.Elementary student’s age is usually from8to13years old, their physical and mentaldevelopments are in the perceptual stage of development for perception of the outsideworld, imitating adults, pursuing new and change. They advocate perceptual materials,have a lot with the amount of information, have strong personal behaviors. In the faceof such a group of living organisms, primary school headteachers works are builtclosely with necessary elementary students’ psychological characteristics. In classmanagement, education students, how to influence students in a vivid way and meetstudents’ psychological characteristics to the expected goal in the education is thebiggest difference compared to the headteachers in the middle school and university.However, new headteachers are relation to the future of school education, so study theprocess of professional development in this group, finding out its experiences anddifficulties then service for other new headteachers in developing professionals. This isthe meaning of this study.The writer chose two new headteachers in primary school. By looking up literature,interviewing to collect research materials, adopt the method of case study to show thereal experiences of the education teaching work at school.Reflect the newheadteachers’ experience, reflection, confusion and requests and so on, look forward togiving references to the study of relevant theory and practice. Now many studies of headteachers professional development in our country are onlybased on the deductive reasoning of the teachers’ professional development and theheadteachers often assume a relativity unified group without difference. The objects ofstudy need to be clearly strengthened. This study describes the professionaldevelopment courses of the two new elementary headteachers, identified theirexperiences and deficiencies in the process of professional development. Based onthese information, the writer puts forward some suggestions and thinking from thesystem level, organizational level, spiritual level, development level several angles, tryto find out more targeted and operational ways and methods. |
