Since the1980s, with the rapid development of science and technology, the science andtechnological innovation has become the core of economic strategy to seize the high ground in allnations and regions. In this context, countries around the world are committed to building aninnovative country. Therefore, the science and technological innovation projects on college studentscome into being in this situation. Recently, the technological innovation projects on college studentshave already widely carried out in every provinces and universities in our country. The science andtechnological innovation projects on college students always tend to be cutting-edge,interdisciplinary and inferior. It may be integration issues in the specific condition and students donot experience before. These issues in the science and technological innovation projects needstudents exceed the surface learning and realize the deep learning. Deep learning requires learnersto enter a specific, practical and real activity. Therefore, it is necessary to study the deep learning inthe science and technological innovation projects on college students.This paper first introduces the background of the project at home and abroad and combes thepresent situation of deep learning. Then the paper defines related concepts and the research object,and describes the theoretical basis of this study’s main points. This paper presents a general processof achieving deep learning and the corresponding college’s ability of deep learning. Based on thequestionnaire of deep learning ability on college students, this paper tries to use quantitativeresearch methods to analysis the comparison of deep learning ability of college students whoparticipate in science and technological innovation projects innovation projects and college studentswho did not participate in the projects. The results show that the level of college students’ deeplearning is not high and there is still much space for improvement; the deep learning ability ofstudents who participate in the science and technological innovation projects and the deep learningability of students who did not participate in the projects have significant differences; whethercollege students participate in the science and technological innovation projects or not is involved ina close positive correlation with their deep learning ability. Then this paper conducts observationsand interviews on the group participating in the science and technological innovation projects.Thispaper attempts to find that how the deep learning ability of college students changes before andafter participating in the science and technological innovation projects with a qualitative study andanalyze how the deep learning ability improve through concept map, Graasp and other learning tools and platforms.According to it, this paper puts forward some suggestions learning for the implementation ofscience and technological innovation projects innovation projects from some advanced methods andtools aborod. At the end, this paper summarizes the results and the limitation of the research, andforecasts the following-up study in future.
