The teacher, as the Engineer of the human soul, bears the major responsibility ofbringing up a generation of people. Nowadays, as education has been paid excessive attention,and parents think school education will affect their children’s whole life, they expect moreand put forward higher demand for teachers. The area has entrusted the teachers with loftyresponsibility, which is also a great deal of pleasure for them.Proper stress will enhance excitement in working, which is helpful to get through crisis.However, a person, who is always under great pressure for a long time, will experiencepathological reaction both psychologically and physiologically, such as hypertension,gastrointestinal dysfunction, headache, memory loss, depression and so forth.The study aims to analyse the relevance between teachers’ basic information, includinggender, marriage, age, seniority, being headteacher or not, subjects, educational history,professional title and levels in working, family, body condition as well as emotion. The studywill finally put forward coping strategies, after doing research on sources of stress as well asdifferent stresses in different careers and potential cause based on relevance.103teachers were chosen as object of the study, who are working in south campus in thesecond Middle School in xingtai, HeBei province. And data was collected by ways ofquestionnaire survey and interviews. Besides all the data was analysed by software spss19.0and excel, through which the relationship between workers’ basic information and workingstress is analysed. Study results are as followed:(1)Stress sources from big to small: working time, working load, irregular life, sense ofguilt for family, big economic pressure, healthy problems etc.(2)Women’s stress on work and family is larger than men’s.(3)Compared with married teachers, the unmarried bear greater pressure on work familyand health.(4)A teacher aging from31to40, teaching years varying from8to15suffers greaterstress. Besides, a teacher who is professional titles1suffers greater stress than title2, andsenior teachers.(5)A teacher who teaches Chinese or geography suffers more. (6)Teachers with Bachelor’s degree suffer greater pressure than teachers with associatedegree and master’s degree.(7)Grade ranking between11and15suffers more.Finally, this study Systematically brings about strategies towards stress from angle ofindividual, school as well as social.
