Comparison Of Ideological And Political Education Methods In Contemporary Chinese And American Universities

Ideological and political education method of university is a summation of all manner,means or measure that university adopts in order to finish it's ideological and political education tasks in the process of ideological and political education to university students. It is the practical experience summary of ideological and political education of university, and it plays an important and special role in the system of ideological and political education subject of university. It is the only measuring standard whether ideological and political education of university finish it's tasks and make the university students improve their thoughts and consciousness.It is a kind of basic wok for study on comparison of ideological and political education method in contemporary Chinese and American universities to make the concept and mutual relations of method,education method,teaching method and teaching ways clear , and take it as a cut-point to make a shallow explanation and generalization about the basic connotation and other problems of ideological and political education method of university . On the basis of it , this thesis :Firstly , this thesis analyses several main factors that affect ideological and political education method in contemporary Chinese and American universities simply , and generalize the basic ideological and political education methods in contemporary Chinese and American universities;Secondly , this thesis analyses and compares ideological and political education methods in contemporary Chinese and American universities, and illuminates the similarities and differences between them;Lastly , On the basis of summarizing the successful experience of contemporary American university's ideological and political education methods, this thesis brings up some constructive suggestions that how to strengthen and improve our Chinese university's ideological and political education method using American's for reference.
