In year2006, Former ministries of personnel and financial issued IncomeDistribution System Reform Act of Public Institution Personnel which wasimplemented in compulsory education schools from January1,2009, implementedin primary medical and health institutions by combining with medical and healthsystem reform from October1,2009, and implemented in other public institutionsincluding higher education colleges from January1,2010. As an important part ofincome distribution system reform of public institution, performance-related paysystem reform of college teachers doesn’t only concern the interests of every teacher,but also plays an important role to balance the whole society. Researchon performance-related pay design of college teachers can do good to cooperate withincome distribution system reform in our country, and bring suggestions and advicesto performance-related pay reform of public institutions, making the distribution ofperformance-related pay more reasonable and fair.……Through studying related theory of merit pay and combining merit pay status ofresearch on home and abroad on higher education schools, this essay has researchedthe performance-related pay reform taken in JG College and found the presence ofproblems. Meanwhile, it provides cause analysis and solutions accordingly.
