On The Development Of County Vocational Education

County is the main unit of national economy and society. County vocational education is always of local characteristics. It serves for the county economy, especially for the development of rural economy. In the new period when our nation makes great efforts in developing the county economy and vocational education, the benign development of county vocational education will greatly promote the leaping development of county economic. However, the development of county vocational education is facing many problems, such as the shortage of students, shrinkage of schools, the difficulty in reformation and so on. Based on the positive study on the teachers,students, the school size and reformation of vocational education in Xianyou County of Fujian Province and the purpose to help county vocational education to develop a vaster space and enhance its social standing, the following measures are put forward in this article. That is, county vocational education should promote its social identity by reforming its pattern of running schools, trying to win more supports from local government,and breaking the geographical restrictions. By the reformation in multilevel and multichannel, the county vocational education may develop healthily and provide better human resources for the development of county economic and society.
