| Chinese Independent High School in Malaysia is also known as Chinese private middle school. The teaching medium of these schools is Mandarin. There are61existing Chinese Independent High Schools in Malaysia including9schools in Johor state. In this paper, questionnaire surveys which are specially designed for front-line history teachers and junior middle school students from Johor state were used.5Chinese Independent High Schools were chosen. The composition of the questionnaire involved34History teachers and581students from the junior middle level. The contents of teachers’survey included six aspects which are essential effects, training in professional capability in class for teachers, practice and learning assessment and school assignments’evaluation. The contents of junior middle level students’survey which involved learning interest, learning methods, learning motivation and purpose, learning situation and the way to the assessment of investigation and opinions. I will humble my opinion is put forward to improve the quality of teaching after studying the history teaching, which including scope of teaching objectives,teaching methods, assessment, teacher training and more. I will analysis and comparison the difficult miscellaneous diseases and incurable problems which facing by history teachers, aimed at resolving the region’s problems in history teaching.The research orientation of this thesis is the study of history teaching present situation in Chinese Independent High Schools. The first part is introduction which stresses on the foundation and the purpose of this study, the problems of history teaching and the methods of research. The second part which using questionnaire surveys to study and analysis in the junior middle school history teaching present situation for Chinese Independent High Schools. The third part in this thesis concludes the existing problems and analysis the sources of teaching problem. Finally, this thesis puts forward some countermeasures to improve the quality of teaching. Through learning the teaching theory, teachers can solve problem and powerlessness on teaching and improve the quality of teaching by using multiplex teaching methods. |
