The to two classes of Kunming Institute of physics department, College of urban construction 1 class and agricultural college were randomly sampled for basic survey by comparison with the employment situation of urban students, understand their employment intention, the factors affecting employment and rural college students’ employment situation analysis etc., put forward the improvement countermeasures of Rural College Students’ employment, employment for rural students provide a reference and suggestions.Survey results show that:whether rural or urban students, in terms of employment intentions, lean in a relatively stable state enterprises and "iron rice bowl" of the party and government organs, but ultimately determine the employment units, mostly to private enterprises; rural students to salary and welfare expectations than urban students in low, and rural students 3 million to 5 million yuan determine the proportion of salary and welfare is lower than that of the urban students, urban students in the interview opportunity and get admission notice is higher than rural students, but college students from the countryside to now job satisfaction than city students. Compared with urban students, rural students have higher proportion considering entrepreneurship. This investigation has important practical significance to optimize the structure of rural grassroots cadres, to promote the rural economic development, to promote the rural harmony and stability and to improve the farmers’ awareness of education..
