Studies On Teaching Reform Of Innovation And Entrepreneurship Oriented Computer Basic Course In Private College

With the rise and development of knowledge-based economy, innovation and enterprise activity have become significant drivers for economy development by transferring science and technology to actual productive forces. Due to effects of traditional employment attitude, the proportion among undergraduate students who become self-employed is rather small, creative spirit and career consciousness is weak, and entrepreneurial ability is not strong. Fundamentals of computer is a general course opened for non-computer speciality students, as a part of general education, and its teaching quality is directly related to the quality of talent training. The course plays a key role in developments of information literacy, spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial ability of undergraduate students. How to integrate the innovation and enterprise educations into the teaching of computer basic courses is essential to sustainable developments of the private college. This thesis studied systematically educational theory of university innovation and entrepreneurship, and investigated teaching status of computer basic courses in private college. Then the thesis explored education reform of innovation and entrepreneurship oriented computer basic course in private college. The thesis consists of six parts:Part 1:Via reviewing the related literature, the background and purpose of teaching reform of innovation and entrepreneurship oriented computer basic course in private college was introduced. It clarified the research ideas, methods and innovation points.Part 2:Concepts of innovative education and entrepreneurial education were described in this part.. And their contents were also introduced.Part 3:Teaching status of computer basic courses in private college was investigated through the questionnaire survey to Hankou University, and several open questions were summarized.Part 4:Based on the above analysis results, proposals to improve the quality of curriculum system was presented covering the six aspects:education concept, curriculum structure, teaching content, teaching mode, teacher resources and teaching evaluation.Part 5:On the innovative practice side, further suggestion by the combination of increasing extra-curricular activities, participating in research project, engaging in a contest and building practical platform was presented. So that to improve the innovation and entrepreneurship education.Part 6:Finally, a summary to the research was given, the open questions were pointed out, and also research orientation was clarified for the further studies.
