| It is clearly stated in the new curriculum standards of middle school moral education that the cores of the Curriculum Reform are to help students have active and healthy lives and to help them to become a responsible citizen in the future. With the gradual improvement of the market economy and the increasing competition in the society, students in middle schools, standing the press from schools, families and the society, inevitably suffer some psychological problems. Some students cannot stand the press, so they may run away from home, suicide and so on. Therefore, people care more about the improvement of the middle school students’ psychological qualities and their endurance capabilities. It is the nature and the curriculum setting that make moral education plays the most important role in improving students’ endurance capabilities. Thus, improving students’ endurance capabilities by moral education is not only the requirement of the curriculum standard, but also the demand of the students’ growth.The paper includes for parts. The first part is the introduction to the paper. The second part outlines the theories related to the moral teaching and the tolerance capabilities of middle school students. This part talks about the core concepts in the paper and the influence of the moral education on the tolerance capabilities in the view of the characteristics of the course and the content of the course. In the third part, the author made a survey of the students in No. 4 Middle School in Anyang. The survey includes two parts. They are about the present situation of the students’ tolerance capabilities and the interview to their parents and teachers. Based on the survey, the author finds out the problems. The forth part talks about the measures should be taken by school, teachers, students, families and the society to improve students’ tolerance capabilities. |
