Secondary vocational education,which is an important part in vocational education, is the basis to contract modern vocational education system. The key to guarantee the sustainable development of secondary vocational education is to develop sufficient teaching staff quantity, good quality, reasonable structure, the combination of full-time and part-time, and relative stability. That is also an important work to promote the quality of vocational education and enhance the social attraction. To strengthen the training work of teachers in secondary vocational schools is an effective way for improving overall teacher quality and strengthening the team construction.This study, which is based on the correlational studies of teachers training needs in secondary vocational schools at home and abroad, takes 6 secondary vocational schools of Tangshan and Qinhuangdao in Hebei Province as researching case, investigates systematically the teachers’ training needs in secondary vocational schools by comprehensively applying questionnaire, interview etc. The results show that: 1. teachers’ training will is higher; internal training is the main; funds mainly borne by the secondary vocational schools; short-term training spent more than a month; training satisfaction is higher. But there are also many problems in training, such as the poor implementation of training policy, the lack of specificity and diversity, narrow training channels, fund shortage etc.2. There are certain differences among content, method, time, length, location, instructor in training needs of teachers in secondary vocational schools. 3.The influencing factors, which present feature of universality and diversity, contain external factors and personal factors. The external factors conclude social factors, school factors and training factors. The personal factors conclude teachers’ gender factors, age factors, seniority factors, title factors, education background, certificate factors, school factors, source factors, income factors etc.To promote the sustainable development of secondary vocational education. Thesis base on training status, training needs and the influence factors of the teachers in secondary vocational schools, put forward that perfecting training policy, relying on the network platform, developing the curriculum module, activating training methods, coordinating training time, strict teachers, paying attention to the training of teachers in secondary vocational schools, to strengthen the teacher training.
