The rapid development of science and technology of the deep influence to the civilization and progress of society. The continuous improvement of science and technology, science and technology personnel training must be rooted in the education, especially the education of science. Primary school science education is the foundation of education, according to the age characteristics of students, the content of education of primary school science curriculum to be close to nature, close to their lives, in a variety of related scientific knowledge activities, through the experiment and practice of interesting to let them explore. Such scientific knowledge can take root in the child, to help children grow faster in the world of science.There are a lot of problems and challenges we need to face in the science education practice, in this process through unremitting efforts to study and try to solve. Primary school science curriculum standards clearly put forward the "scientific study to explore as the core", "scientific inquiry learning is not only a goal and the way of learning" basic concept, how to make the students learn the subject status, let students carry out independent inquiry learning,cultivate the consciousness and ability of students’ independent inquiry, this is an important problem in our science education research. According to the characteristics of primary school science curriculum, the systematic study of primary school science course of self inquiry teaching problems, and put forward the related feasible suggestions aiming at the problems existing in the present situation.The teacher is the students learn scientific knowledge guide, according to the different teaching contents, independent inquiry teaching method can be varied in. Teaching according to the teaching objectives and content using different teaching methods, in the independent inquiry teaching to fullymobilize the enthusiasm of the students, give play to the comprehensive ability of them to get the best learning results.
