Blended learning is a sort of instructional strategy which blended different learning theory, different technology and different instrument as well as different application mode. The key purpose of blended learning is that it combines E-learning and traditional classroom teaching. Blended Learning has already not only given play to teacher's leading, inspiration and controlling the leading role of the teaching course, but also fully reflected students as the initiative, enthusiasm and creativity of the learning process subject, in order to achieve the purpose that the teaching result optimizes most.In this thesis, I hope to overcome some problems and find some ways of Geography teaching by using the blended learning method and Moodle platform. The thesis is divided into three parts: theories about blended learning, teaching practice and practice analysis.In the theory analysis part, discusses the connotations of blended learning, the structure and functions of the Moodle, including the advantage, mold of Moodle as a platform of blended learning. In the teaching practice part, designs and builds a case of blended learning on the basis of Moodle, then practices the case. In the practice analysis part, does the investigation and analyzes the success and failure of this practice.Finally, the paper makes the brief subtotal of the geography teaching pattern based on the Moodle platform.The findings indicates that the blended learning which based on the Moodle platform can extend the geography studying space and time technically. It has certain practical significance to middle schools' geography teaching pattern exploration.
