In order to improve the level of children’s physical and mental health, in the school sports work ordinance provides for the main task of the school sports work at the same time, not only to children’s physical exercise time, extracurricular sports activities, sports teaching put forward clear requirements, also requires a fully bring into play the function of school sports education, pay attention to in sports activities to cultivate students the spirit of perseverance, bears hardships and stands hard work.Basketball enlightenment education can not only improve the physical quality of children, immune system, promote overall health development, but also can cultivate children’s good character, the spirit of unity and cooperation, promote the development of children’s socialization, the children can adapt to the requirements of the current society, can also provide the development of Chinese basketball reserve talented person.So what should use what kind of theory to guide children’s basketball enlightening education, aiming at this problem, this paper hopes to promote the healthy development of children’s all-round, for the purpose of exploring children’s enlightenment education connotation, basketball to improve children’s basketball theories and methods of the enlightenment education.So this article combined with the characteristics of children and the value of basketball, a comprehensive analysis to the connotation of children’s enlightenment education basketball as the breakthrough point, analyzing the characteristic of the enlightenment education concept and modern basketball, clear basketball to the significance of education and enlightenment, the basketball movement the contents,principles, methods and forms of enlightenment education, aims to enrich children basketball movement, the theoretical basis of the enlightenment education of the healthy development of children’s enlightenment education basketball has a certain reference value.In this paper, based on the literature material law, comprehensive expert interview data, and to summarize their practical teaching experience, according to thewriting way of thinking to the following conclusion:(1) According to the characteristics of the children’s, children’s enlightenment education basketball should be divided into two different stages, each stage in the teaching contents, principles, methods and organizational forms should have different priorities.(2) In terms of teaching content, 1-3 grade of children is more important is to cultivate their interest and abide by the rules of consciousness, is 4 to 6 grade children focus on developing their skills, thinking and quality, and cultivate good habits throughout the whole teaching process.(3) In terms of teaching principle, more important is to use 1-3 grade children instructive principle and progressive principle, focuses on using 4 to 6 grade children consolidate and developmental unification principle and the principle of comprehensive development of body and mind, and intuitive principle throughout the whole teaching process.(4) In terms of teaching method, more important is to use 1-3 grade children with teacher’s teaching as the main body of the teaching method, 4 to 6 grade children are focus on skill learning as the main body and students self-study as the main body of teaching methods, and interaction between teachers and students as the main method to throughout the whole teaching process.(5) In the aspect of teaching organization form, the formation of teaching organization form according to the actual situation to choose different forms, and that the organization form in the content should be distinguish, more important is to use1-3 grade children scene type of teaching organization form, 4 to 6 grade children focuses on using the game type teaching organization form, the game type teaching organization form should be throughout the whole teaching process.
