| The State Department in “Decision on accelerating the development of modern vocational education†emphasized that it’s time to promote the secondary and higher vocational education closely together, then putting the secondary vocational education play a fundamental role in the development of modern vocational education and “increasing the communication between vocational education and general educationâ€, so as to build a overpass for students diversity of choice and multipath talent. Currently, the convergence of secondary vocational education and higher vocational education has become the main channel for further study of secondary vocational graduates, while the completion of this process, the convergence and communication between the students’ comprehensive quality training is crucial.The study put the six colleges and universities which implement enrollment in Hebei province as samples(including: two colleges, two high school special, two colleges), which takes surveys, field interviews and other research methods, to vocational students(secondary vocational school graduates) and general high students(high school graduation) for binary variables, then let colleges and universities classroom teachers make a systematic review about the performance situation of their moral education, cultural, intellectual,ability, physical and mental, social, and other qualities, seven dimensions and 54 performance, so as to make a clear of the main difference of the quality between vocational students and general high students. The results showed that secondary vocational students in six quality indicators of student learning skills, organizational leadership ability, athletic ability and other sources are better than ordinary high school students. What’s more, teachers from different institutions agree that the quality of students in grades 15 indicators have been in a “better levelsâ€, then different professional teachers evaluate students’ quality of more than 60% show no significant difference. However, the mean score of secondary vocational students’ quality was significantly lower than the general students, while among different types of colleges and professional teachers, there are significant differences on the evaluation of secondary vocational students’ quality, accounting for more than half of different types of college teachers have significantly difference for secondary vocational students’ quality.Based on the evaluation results of high collages teachers about secondary vocational students and general college students’ quality, the study emphasis that secondary vocational schools should based on the reality of “employment-oriented†and “further education-orientedâ€, to further improve the training objectives and gradually solve the “two-way fissionâ€, facing to the market and the needs of students, progressive realize the three adaptation of “professional adapt to the market, teachers adapt to teaching and students adapt to societyâ€; putting quality education as the center, gradually implement the three integration of “quality education and public basic education curriculumâ€, and teaching of professional skills, and carrying out social activities; to improve the curriculum system as a means to generally realize the three unities of the curriculum, course content, course objectives. Meanwhile, the higher school enrollment should established professional curriculum systems thaw in secondary vocational schools, higher vocational schools and general college’s trinity and interrelated curriculum as soon as possible. For the difference of students’ quality, the training programs of adapt the quality of secondary vocational students should be laid down individually, and put into practice, to realize classification training and train students talents all-round. |
