To accelerate the process of educational informatization in China,in 2013 October the Ministry of Education issued “the views about the implementation of improving the National Teacher’s ability of applying information technology in primary and secondary schools from The Ministry of education”.The view make it clear to launch a new round of teacher training to improve the teacher’s information technology application ability, teaching ability and professional development ability.based on this,our country has carried out a series of training.These training has made a lot of progress,but it also exist many problems,for example,The traditional face-to-face training which cost a lot of manpower and material resource is ineffective, because of the long training cycle and heavy task,the remote training is very difficult to obtain good training effect,so exploring a new mode of training to meet the features of information technology is the current teacher training needed urgent problem.In recent years, the emergence of social media like new micro-blog and We Chat has brought the modern human’s life into the "micro era",In the field of education, the emergence of micro courses has made learning resources more fragmented, miniaturization, and it helps to meet the learners’ personalized needs,and it provides a new way to solve the dilemma of the current teacher training.By investigating the current situation of teacher’s ability of applying information technology training,this study has explored a mode of using micro course to train the rural primary and middle school teachers’ information technology application abilities.and in order to provide reference suggestion to the future teacher training,we use post test on experimental study to collect relevant data and analysis the effect by using the mode to improve the rural teachers’ information technology application ability.This paper is divided into five chapters,The first chapter is the introduction, the chapter is mainly on the research background, the purpose and significance of this study,the methods of this study and related concepts;The second chapter is the theoretical foundation and literature review,This part is an overview of the theoretical foundation and the research situation at home and abroad;The third chapter is the pre investigation of the training and the design of the training resources and mode.At first this chapter has carried on a questionnaire survey,then we start to design the training mode and micro curriculum resources;The fourth chapter is the mode application and effect analysis,and it includes implementation of the train and analysis of the training effect,after the experiment, we use questionnaires and interviews to collect the training objects’ feedback about the effect of using the micro course to train the teachers’ information technology application ability;The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect of this research,This chapter summarizes the results and insufficiency of this study and it points out the direction for the future research.
