The new curriculum advocates "the learning initiative to students", butreflect on current moral classroom is more important than form, lack of rationality, one-sided pursuit of classroom lively, ignored the subject role of classroom goal and students. The emergence of the "heavy theory, light practice; heavy grades, the light ability; tend to accept the light, found". Classroom openness is still not enough, students’ thinking has not been fully trained, independent thinking, the student experience has not been sufficient attention, with the new curriculum reform to promote the implementation of, from the classroom, how to make students learn, will learn, happy to learn, creative learning, the right of learning to students. As a Junior Ideological and moral teachers, it is necessary explore the suitable for the development requirements of the new situation of teaching in theory, is used to guide the teaching practice. Case teaching is teachers need according to the curriculum teaching objective and teaching content, by setting a specific teaching cases, guide the students to participate in the analysis, discussion and other activities, let the students problems in a concrete situation of positive thinking and exploration, to develop a comprehensive ability of the students teaching method. It emphasizes the students as the main body, to develop students’ autonomous learning ability, practical ability and creative ability as the basic value orientation, it will be the ideological and moral course theory and practice organically. Therefore, the introduction of case teaching method in moral lessons in junior high school, to promote the teaching reform of Ideological and moral lessons in junior high school and has positive significance for strengthening quality education. This paper mainly carries on the research from the following four aspects:The first part, overview of case teaching. This part mainly discusses two problems:one is to define the case and the case of teaching; the two is the theory basis of case teaching; the three is the implementation of case teaching of important significance to the moral lesson in junior middle school.The second part, the principle and implementation method of case teaching.The third part, the implementation of case teaching in the junior middle school thought moral qualities lesson.
