The eighth basic education curriculum reform in our country is in full swing. In the curriculum reform, High school Chinese curriculum has set up compulsory courses and elective courses. Compulsory Courses pay attention to the common ground and balanced development. Elective Courses on the basis of expand ascension and personality development. They work together to improve students’ Chinese accomplishment. Elective Courses design of the five series, each series consists of several modules. "The ancient Chinese prose" is one of the modules of the high school language courses. (Based on the version of "the ancient Chinese prose" elective module teaching material as the research object) "The ancient Chinese prose" elective module is on the basis of the compulsory courses, to further develop students’ appreciation of ancient Chinese prose, and help to improve students’reading ability and high grade Chinese cultural literacy.Due to the imperfect teaching facilities and the system, teachers and students’ quality is not high, and the understanding of teaching materials and using proper reason.Existing problems in the teaching of ancient Chinese prose elective module increasingly emerged, such as training courses required, mechanization and loose blind. This caused the low student interest in learning, teaching effect is not ideal. Combined with popular culture, vulgar culture and the influence of the fast food culture nowadays middle school students often don’t have the time and thought to reading classics, especially the ancient classic prose, which makes students ability of reading and appreciation of ancient prose is generally weak. Therefore, this article mainly using the methods of literature research, and case analysis, combined with the elective teaching material contents, interpretation of new part of the research results, and the ancient prose teaching of "ancient Chinese prose" elective module teaching, aims to provide a line of Chinese teachers’ teaching practice some lessons.Under the background of new curriculum reform are discussed, this study in high school Chinese elective module of Chinese ancient prose teaching material text, connotation and characteristics and so on are analyzed and interpreted, and mainly on the teaching strategies of macro and micro concrete means of practice are discussed in this paper. In this paper, the first chapter is mainly in the context of new curriculum reform, the status of Chinese ancient prose elective module teaching from high school, course target, teaching material and the value of its multi-faceted analysis. The second chapter is mainly to high school Chinese elective module of ancient prose appreciation teaching concept, basic characteristics of these aspects are expounded, and the teaching status quo and reasons are analyzed, for the following teaching strategies and methods of exploration to lay the foundation. The third chapter is main body and core part of the paper. First is set according to the characteristics of the courses and the ancient prose teaching the teaching goal, and then from on macroscopic to project teaching method, teaching experience and explore teaching three aspects discussed the teaching strategies of ancient prose elective module. Then introduces the ancient prose from the Angle of the micro elective module teaching specific teaching approaches, such as the method of reading the connotation, etc., and an example case to argue and instructions. Finally put forward the related to the high school language of Chinese ancient prose teaching evaluation Suggestions.
