In a certain geographical area, Folk-custom is commonly accepted and inherited from generation to generation, Such as manners, habits, customs and spiritual beliefs. From the perspective of culture, people redefine folk culture,then it gradually formed a knowledge system.Folk culture is an important part of Chinese traditional culture, which contains a profound philosophy of life, practical knowledge of life, colorful ethnic culture and noble rituals. Folk culture of education in history teaching can effectively expand students’knowledge, the content of folk culture is very important, which should cause the history teacher’s attention.In recent years, with the increasing development of folklore, history research fields are wide. The connection between the two disciplines are closely, the folk culture knowledge is also evident in the history textbooks and the college entrance examination.According to psychology, pedagogy, history and other related theories, this paper combined with the knowledge of educational theory and the history of the nature of curriculum. Through the analysis of the relationship between the folk culture and history teaching,We should focus on how to apply teaching materials knowledge and take advantage of the history course. It is improve the teaching effectiveness of folk culture. Folk culture become charm, but also highlight the characteristics of the discipline of history and pay attention to the educational role of folk culture in the history teaching, students will love it. this paper tries to analyze the meaning.First of all, the concept, classification and characteristics of folk culture are discussed. Secondly, through analysis of the role of folk culture in education and list the folk culture reflections in history education and the college entrance examination, Folk culture is an important content of history teaching, including the role of folk culture and effective use of the history of education, the folk-custom culture education can cultivate students’interest in learning, increase their knowledge, and make students understand traditional culture. Second, the paper analysis the development situation of folk culture in the process of the reform of the history course, on this basis, A detailed analysis of the shortcomings and the reasons for existence of folk culture and education. Finally, the paper put forward some methods and approaches of folk culture in high school history teaching, especially use network resources and the minority folk culture. We should pay attention to the folk-custom culture in the teaching of history and explore the folk culture of the significance of education.Senior high school history teacher need to face and solve the problem in the future.
