In the deepest of my memory, the most attractive lessons tend to have great detail description. They maybe delicate transfer the the personality of a historical figure, or vividly reappear the historical scene, or lively narrate the process of a historical event. The detail is insignificant, but it tends to be more impressive. To explore the epic history, we need to capture the details of the history. Details often mean small units that describe depict characters, scenes, and events in the development of history. Historical details tend to be reality, thoughtful. Excellent history teachers often good at discover historical details, and properly present them to students.However, pressure from the university entrance exam, highly concentrated in textbooks, and many other practical reasons, high school history lessons tend to lack of details. Using historical details enhance teaching interesting and attractive and can change the phenomenon that only concentrate on the events while ignore the people, attaching a label to the characters. Details can highlight spiritual values and implement the teaching goal to carry out the target of emotion manners and values.This article explores the application of the historical details in the high school history teaching. Full text is divided into four parts:Part one: this paper expounds the background of selected topic and research status at home and abroad, the research significance and the method.The second part: the paper summarizes the definition and features of the history details, discussing the application of the historical details of theoretical basis, including the history theory and history teaching theory.The third part: combining with the teaching cases, the paper analyzes the teaching function of the historical details, involving three aspects: knowledge, ability and emotion manners and values.The fourth part: summarized the basic teaching strategy of history details and requirements for teachers. When discussing the collection and selection of the history details, the writer focused on the choice of details. We should comply with the principles of scientific nature, life and revealing and pay attention to the right moment. We always use the details at the import and difficult point or use them as a summary. When revealing the details, lecturing method is the main approach. Finally, combining with the teaching reflection, the writer put forward the requirements for teachers, in order to cause the teachers’ attention to detail.
