PCK is one of the professional knowledge for teachers,and also a stipulation in The professional standards of the teacher in middle school(trail).PCK is that kind of knowledge, which transform the pedagogical knowledge to an easy accepted way by students.The research is going to build the PCK standard of new appointment teaches in high school, by using the research methods,such as expert interviews, classroom observation, text analysis and so on.Then compared the PCK in new teachers and professional teachers based on the standards.And finally the research put forward the strategy to promote the PCK of new teachers group.The theory significance is that enriching the structure of middle school teachers’ professional standards system.The practice significance is that promoting the professional development of new teachers.There are four requirements of the professional standard in PCK,including content knowledge,curriculum knowledge,student knowledge and teaching knowledge. The paper is buliding the PCK standard of new teachers by unscrambling the professional standard.there are also four aspects in the standard,including geographic content knowledge;geographic curriculum knowledge;student knowledge and geographic teaching knowledge.There are also some elements of each aspects. The content knowledge included geographic content knowledge;the knowledge of the geographical thought and method;the geographical concept knowledge.The curriculum included the overall understanding of high school geography curriculum;the understanding of the each part of high school geography curriculum;the understanding of special content and etc.The student knowledge included the cognition of the pre-cognitive,the cognition of Key points’ and difficult points’studing.The geographic teaching knowledge included the knowledge of teaching methods’ choice.To start the comparative study of the PCK in new geography teachers and professional geography teachers based on the structure of PCK standard,by using the research methods of interviews, classroom observation and questionnaire survey.Found the following problems in new geography teachers. Firstly, it is difficult to use subject knowledge,the understanding of curriculum knowledge isn’t deep enough;the student knowledge isn’t sturdy;,the application of pedagogical knowledge isn’t proficiency.On this issues,this paper finally put forward the training strategy for promote the PCK of new geography teacher.The training strategy of new geography teacher is presented in this paper. Firstly, to build knowledge model,to deep subject knowledge;Secondly,to study curriculum standard,to expand curriculum knowledge;Thirdly,pay attention to student life,to accumulate knowledge about students;Fourthly,use teaching method flexible,to optimize teaching knowledge.
