The fourth plenary session of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee in 2014 has announced a communique the first time that the general target is to form a system serving "the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics" and build a country under "the socialist rule of law". As an educational worker, how to implement the plenary constitution, continue to study and promote administration by law and achieve the target of managing education by law becomes the new task in the new period.Vocational students not only are an important component of a member of the youth, but also as one of the main sources of professional workers. With the rapid development of social economy, the demand for professional people with high quality is more and more and it cannot be ignored for vocational students in legal education. As an important part of China’s vocational education system, good vocational student’s legal education has far-reaching significance, not only the need to build a harmonious society in the new system but also the need to raise students’comprehensive quality and cause its full scale development. Although we had made a great achievement from "the promotional law education of one five" (1986-1990) to "the promotional law education of six five" (2011-2015), but vocational student’s social status and social function had made a huge change during this period:In 1990s, the vocational students still need to be selected and their skill and talent are same level as senior high school students. But at the beginning of the 2000, high schools start to recruit more student and the popularity of high school, it grew gradually to the situation that student couldn’t get into senior high school then get into vocational school. The students has gone down poorer and poorer. At the same time, with rapid development of the social economy, it requires more and more professional workers and the demand to the workers’ethic and profession is more and more. Legal literacy, as one of professionalism that the professional workers required, becomes more and more valued. Therefore, besides training the vocational students’professional skills, how to educate the vocational students to understand the law, abide the law, use the law and have humble attitude in front of the law are our urgent question to think about.In this paper, I start from the educational workers’ angle to study and analyze our vocational school student’s current situation on the law education, with the reference of domestic and foreign studies, and analyze the factors, such as school, family and social environment that affect the vocational school students’ law education and give out the relative solution through thinking. This paper will be divided in 5 parts:First:Introduction.It mainly describes the purpose, meaning, and current situation of the research, research method and thoughts, the definition of the relative notion.Second:Vocational student’s current situation and issue of law education.By setting up a questionnaire survey and current situation at home and abroad, study the current situation and finding the issue of law educations on vocational students.Third:Reason analysisAnalyze the school, family and social factors to analyze the current situation and the root cause that the issue that we’re facing in the law education to vocational students.Forth:Thoughts on the thesisThrough the root cause of the issue that we’re facing in the law education to vocational students, bring up some well-directive idea and thoughts from education notion, education method, school, family and social aspect.Fifth:ConclusionSummarize this essay and outlook the later research.
