With the in-depth development of the high school new geography curriculum standard,high school geography teaching is facing a major reform. In the traditional map teaching of middle school geography in China after years of wandering,there is still no substantive breakthrough. While information geography spreads throughout the campus,GIS as a frontier science,provides an opportunity for the development of map teaching and injects new vitality for basic phase of the geography teaching as well. Map teaching is unable to replace by any language or writing teaching in geography. How to make our country’s geography education keep up with the pace of the development of geography,is the huge challenges which our country’s geography education faces now. Although the introduction of GIS maps to geographic information sharing platform has a great impact on the China’s traditional map education,the GIS platform to be introduced into high school classroom is an inevitable trend in the development of basic geography education in this digital age.Using the application of GIS education in recent years as a starting point and Zhejiang geographic information sharing platform as the media,this paper analyzes the advantages of integration of geographic information sharing platform and map teaching,and then verifies the feasibility of introducing geographic information sharing platform to high school geography class. The paper consists of six chapters. In order to clarify the background of the whole research to the readers,the first chapter mainly describes the background of the research from the macro and micro angle,and also makes a detailed description of the research purpose,meaning and the main research contents. The second chapter includes four parts. The first part explains the basic concept of this study to clean the blind spot of knowledge. The second part mainly summarizes the development process and the present development situation of the geographic information sharing platform at home and abroad. From different angles and by survey analysis,the third chapter summarizes the integrated condition of geographic information sharing platform and map teaching. The fourth chapter is mainly the application of geographic information sharing platform in the mapteaching,describedintwoparts.thefirstpartdescribestheplatform’smethodsofoperationanddisplaysthemodule,andthesecondpartmainlymakesananalysisonteachingfunctionoftheplatform.thefifthchapterisabouttheexamplesofdesignthatgeographicinformationsharingplatformassistsmapteachingrespectively,usingtheplatformdatabaseandonlinemapfunctiontoprovidethereferencefortheintegratedteaching.thesixthchaptersummarizestheresearchachievementsofthesubjectandmakesacorrelationanalysisfortheunreasonableplace.
