Based on the comprehensive implementation and promotion of the New Curriculum Reform in history teaching, combining with the teaching objectives and requirements in the improvement of students’humanistic quality in history’s new curriculum, on account of the requirements and practice of the teaching idea of new curriculum, the paper explores the paths, the strategies, the methods and the principles of the cultivation of humanistic quality in the history teaching of new curriculum.The whole paper is mainly divided into two parts. The first part mainly expounds the reasons for selecting the topic and relative theoretical basis, analyses the necessity, the significance and the shortcomings of the cultivation of humanistic quality in high school’s history curriculum and the Curriculum Reform of Elementary Education by combining with new curriculum’s core idea on changing study methods, and combs through the research achievements made by predecessors on this topic, with an aim to make a clear understanding on the related theoretical basis in the research of this topic and the related concepts and the range of study of the topic.Based on the history teaching in middle schools,the second part probes into how hu-manistic quality is cultivated in the history teaching in middle schools.First of all,the pa-per focuses on the excavation and the integration of the re source on humanistic quality in the history teaching of new curriculum,and probes into the exploitation and use of the textbook,the internet,the local resources;secondly,from three perspectives,namely the divers-ification of the teaching objectives of the subject of history, the various paths to exploit and use history curriculum resource,and the strengthening of the connection and the inte-gration of the subject, the paper systematically expounds the basic strategies to cultivate humanistic quality in the history teaching in middle schools; next, the paper puts forward four teaching methods to cultivate humanistic quality in the history teaching in middle s chools,so as to enhance the permeation of the cultivation of humanistic quality; finally, the paper combs through and concludes the basic principles of cultivating humanistic qu-ality in the history teaching in middle schools, makes a n introspection on the achieveme-nts and shortcomings of the research on the topic, and offers a vista of the prospect of the c ultivation of humanistic quality.The innovative points of the paper lies in:(1) The research perspective is new; based on the cultivation of humanistic quality in middle schools,the paper tries hard to explore the basic paths,strategies,implementation methods and principles to realize the cultivation of humanistic quality by combining theories and practice.(2) The research emphasizes the c haracteristics of the subje ct of history,closely combines with the humanistic attribute of the subject of history,and adopts feasible approaches such as:investigation,comparative st-udy,case study method and so forth to answer the practical questions stemming from the practice of education and teaching,in an effort to realize the guiding significance on teac-hing practice.
