The Study On The Operation Situation,problem And Countermeasures Of Changzhou Voluntary Organizations Helping The Only Child Deceased Families

China’s family planning policy brought out a large number of the only child families, which had shown higher and higher risk in recent years. So far, these families, which have a common configuration called singly sustained, have obvious fragility. The number of the only child deceased families, which increased about 76 thousand per year, has outnumbered a million. These families result in a big problem not only for themselves, but also for the entire society and the people’s livelihoods. It’s an obligatory responsibility for the government to establish a socialized rescue system for the only child deceased group. Meanwhile, due to the spiritual fragility and psychological sensibility in such a group, it’s very important for the social forces to pay more deep and continuous attention to such a group. So far, the voluntary organizations as the representative for the social forces should play an important compensatory role for such an issue.This thesis illustrates the case of Changzhou, combines the theory and practice, analyzes the difficulties and demands of the only child deceased families, focuses on voluntary organizations helping such families, discusses the characteristics, effects, and the deficiency of the voluntary organizations, brings the progressive, creative and improved plans for such organizations, and probes the structure of social supporting system for rescuing the only child deceased families.
