Preschool education which is an important part of our national education system is the beginning of lifetime education. The quality of teachers in preschool education depends on the cultivation of Kindergarten Normal School in preschool education. The rapid development of information technology cored in computer network technology leads to the development of educational modernization which cores in informatization and the important status of information technology course. As an independent course or a technology of facilitating other courses learning, information technology is very significative in the construction of Kindergarten Normal School preschool education.In Kindergarten Normal School preschool education teaching, information technology teaching hasn’t got enough attention. It’s important, necessary and urgent for Kindergarten Normal School to set up and intensify information technology teaching. We should strengthen the cognition of information technology education and education informatization and conduct the research of information technology by students who major in pre-school education. We put forward the basis for the orientation of information technology teaching in pre-school education from its specifieness and characteristics in information technology teaching. Based on it, we scientifically orientated the information technology teaching, which reflect in four aspects such as word processing, multimedia technology, data processing and network application. Each aspect was stated from theory learning, skill cultivation and professional application and so on.Based on massive documents, empirical investigation and interviews, the writer comprehensively thought about information technology teaching in Kindergarten Normal School preschool education, especially analyzed its teaching problems. The paper mainly stated specific and concrete orientation in each teaching contents and each teaching aspect, which made the research valuable in academic reference and meaningful in teaching practice. Finally the paper also summarized and rethought the research in order to start a deeper discussion in information technology teaching in preschool education.
