Real education is determined by the relationship between the teacher and the student. Thus, qualified teachers are crucial to good education. However, teachers often encounter such a problem: profound philosophical mind and advanced educational philosophies cannot help them handle accidental education context skillfully, especially for teachers in primary schools. They are faced with much more complicated and changeable education context, since the physical and mental development of students in primary school is at the initial and uncertain stage. Therefore, teachers in primary schools must be equipped with an ability to cope with accidental education context immediately and appropriately,that is, pedagogical-tact.The present studies have investigated pedagogical-tact of teachers in primary schools on the basis of Phenomenology of Education which focuses on experience and intuitive analysis. The data of the present study are collected from observing the education practice of some teachers in a primary school and interviewing those teachers, thus the data are comparatively authentic. In the process of data description and data analysis, the present study tries to present the real state of pedagogical-tact of those teachers objectively. Then the internal structure and the characteristics of the pedagogical-tact will be concluded, and some thoughts on pedagogical-tact development will be proposed on the basis of the problems found in the research. The organization of the present study is as follows.Part one is an introduction to the study, which mainlyillustrates the topic selecting and the significance of the topic, relevant literature review both at home and abroad,research methods, and the definition of some key words.Part two is theoretical foundation, including the historical development of Phenomenology of Education, some education philosophies and pedagogical-tact reflected in Phenomenology of Education.Part three is practical research. This part tries to present the real state of primary school teachers’ pedagogical-tact by examining the generative process of pedagogical-tact which includes the generation of pedagogical-tact, the key of generating pedagogical-tact,and the destination of pedagogical-tact. The structure of pedagogical-tact will be analyzed as well.Part four is the conclusion part, which includes the current situation of the pedagogical-tact of teachers in primary schools and the way to develop pedagogical-tact.
