The nation which can read is a nation full of hope, a nation with spiritual civilization. Reading should be cultivated from childhood. At present, the situation of primary students’ extra-curricular reading in our country is not optimistic. Since teachers and parents have the most intimate relationship with primary students, they must work together to improve the pupils’ extracurricular reading and to establish their happy life. Only when they coordinate well, can the extracurricular reading status quo be fundamentally reversed. This paper introduces the management of the four quadrants of time and PDCA cycle management, which provides help for teachers and parents’ effective managent. The introduction of forming thinking principle, which arouse the students’ interest about mass reading,and function as the reference dimensions of the recommended accomplishment bibliography. In addiction, writing coach mode, DCC, is applied to guide students to read as well. At the same time, the author establishes the foucus of this paper from the viewpoint of system theory and reading activities to analysis the reading activities subsystem. Thus both the macro and micro are taken into consideration.In a word, extracurricular reading management model is a model that combines with the management of primary school students in extracurricular reading. It forms an overall planning and management of a teacher’s level. Teachers, parents and students are the most influential factors of extracurricular reading. Under the guidance of teachers, parents mobilize the students to the specific operation with the assistance of management, and form DCC power system.Thus a teacher, parent level(macroscopic), students(micro) level of operation management model can be established. |
