Research On Outdoor Recreation Sport Needs And Participative Behavior Of University Students

Firstly, we develop a simple questionnaire and give out by network and field, survey needs and behavior of outdoor recreation sport of undergraduates, more than 600 undergraduates of eight universities participate in questionnaire survey, they come from Sichuan Normal University, Southwest University of Science and Technology and so on. Secondly, we put to use chi-square test based on the survey data by SPSS17.0 software, explore and analyse gender, grade, subject and sports event differences in outdoor recreation sport needs and behavior of University students, and determine sports event of interview survey. Thirdly, we develop semi-structured interview outline and select 56 undergraduates involved climbing or outdoor riding in-depth interviews, explore their outdoor recreation needs of species and behavior. Finally, we conclude interview data from bottom to top by grounded theory methods and qualitative analysis software NVIVO10.0. Conclusions are as follows:(1)Undergraduates have a high participation intention of outdoor recreation sport and have grade, subject and sports event differences, but not gender differences. Outdoor recreation sport needs of University students can be divided into return nature, health aspirations, social interaction, entertainment, pursue shock, enhance self, relaxation, open up new horizon.(2) The actual number of undergraduates participating in outdoor recreation sport is far less than the number of their needs, and their choice focusing on mountain climbing, hiking, outdoor riding, camping and rafting.(3) Behavior of outdoor recreation sport of undergraduates has grade, subject and sports event differences, but not gender differences. For most undergraduates, frequency of outdoor recreation sport is not high; form of outdoor recreation sport is more choice go hand in hand with homosexual tendencies together; consumption of outdoor recreation sport is mainly used for food, equipment, accommodation, transportation, tickets and has significant individual differences and gender differences; preparation of outdoor recreation sport is based on equipment, food, Raiders, pharmaceuticals, insurance; security risks during outdoor recreation sport from their own factors, natural disasters, accidents, and cultural conflict.
