Research On Higher Vocational Colleges Campus Safety Management In Transformation Period Of Society

Campus safety is closely related to public safety and is a very important part of the latter. Campus safety concerns if students can grow safely and healthily, if thousands of families are well-being and if the society is stable. Therefore, all sectors of society focus their attentions on campus safety. Now, an important content of school education and management is to protect each student good, and reduce the students’ accident rate to a minimum. Higher vocational education is an important type and level in the development of China’s higher education, taking the mission of training applied talents for the first line of production, construction, service and management of the society. It is very necessary that doing a empirical research of campus safety management in the period of social transformation, combining the actual conditions of higher vocational college, to find the problems, analyze the problems and solve the problems.Firstly, this paper has the definition on the higher vocational education, campus safety and the campus safety management, and analyzes the characteristics of campus safety management in higher vocational college and the importance of strengthening the campus safety management in higher vocational college. Secondly, the paper analyzes the current situation of higher vocational college campus safety management from several aspects. Then the paper adopted several methods such as field investigation, questionnaire and interview to carry on a detailed analysis on campus safety and the safety of campus management question in Huishang Vocational College, analyzing the macroscopic problems and reasons of campus safety management, including that part of students’safety consciousness is not strong, the mechanism construction of campus safety management is not perfect, the mechanism construction of campus safety education is not perfect and the security team management is insufficient. In addition, the author also finds that safety accident types mainly include fire safety accidents, traffic accidents, network security, property safety accidents, personal safety accident and food safety accidents in higher vocational college campus safety management and discusses their reasons. Finally, in view of these questions, combining the reality of the campus, the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures in the aspects of the students’ safety consciousness education, the campus safety management mechanism construction, the campus safety education mechanism construction, security team construction, fire safety management, network security management, traffic safety management, property safety management, personal safety management and food safety management,In this paper, the characteristics and the innovations are doing an empirical research of campus safety management in the period of social transformation, combining with the actual conditions of higher vocational college, collecting data through on-the-spot investigation, interview, questionnaire, finding the macro and micro problems of campus safety management through the analysis of data, and putting forward the countermeasures targeted on the macroscopic and microcosmic problems.
