Information technology could have a revolutionary impact on the education, presenting in National medium and long-term development plan outline. Big data, Analysis of the learning technology is the focus of current research in the educational field,is expected to become a breakthrough in the reform of education. We expect the analysis of the learning technology can better service learning of the student and teaching of the teacher, truly realizing the student-centered learning. Whether classroom teaching or network teaching like MOOC, Diagnosis and assessment of learning effect of students is the important teaching step. More research on the diagnosis of the points of knowledge and the diagnosis of senior thinking ability like Ability to solve the problem is rare. This paper, using IMMEX(Interactive Multimedia Exercises) for refenrence, attempts to study a convenient way for the ability of problem solving diagnosis about the students, laying the basement for the diagnosis on computer based of intelligent problem solving ability.The main work as follows:(1) Ability assessment web system was developed. The system is mainly used to collect the test data. This paper introduces the system of work flow and main function module and each role of the system and their main function. Based on the system, taking major of educational technology of Shanghai Normal University as example, designing the test of the courses ‘AS P.NET MVC programming’ and ‘database design and application of E-R modle’, and introducing the design and implementation of test based on XML.(2) Try to get the diagnosis modle based on linear regression analysis.we conducted two rounds of iterative research through invited all students of level 2012 and 2013 as testers based on the two tests of the two courses.we proved that the testers’ score who get good score in final exam of the course with their all clicked information’s time we get on the system, testers’ score who get good score in final exam of the course with their clicked key information’s time, testers’ score who get good score in final exam of the course with the ratio of the sum of their clicked key information’s time with the sum of their all clicked information’s time,are all can not get the right result which can diagnosis the problem sovling ability.(3)Draws a convenient diagnostic method for problem solving ability based on the time series data. The second round iterative research is in the process of finding and solving problems and explored the ultimate method can diagnose learner’s ability to solve prob lem. First of all, taking preliminarily distinguish through the number of key node informations of test.The tester who do not click all the key node information that does not have the problem solving ability.The ratio that the sum of key node information’s time with the total click inforamations’ time is between 0.8022218 to 1 through T test can be identified having the problem solving ability for the tester who had clicked all key note informations.(4) Validate the effect of diagnosis method we get. We invite 2 testers who surely have the problem solving ability about test and 5 testers who surely have no problem solving ability about test, Through interview. We get the true rate of 71.42%,using the method we get.it prve that it has a good effect on prolem solving ability diagnosis,and it is Convenient to realize through the computer.
