Thomas Woodrow Wilson, the 28 th U.S. president. During 1902 to 1910, he was held the position of the 13 th president in Princeton University. In the school, Woodrow Wilson carried out a serious of policies to reform educational system, he established the Honor System, Preceptorial System and proposed to set up the residential college(the Quad Plan), which set a solid foundation for the success of Princeton University in the future.The purpose of this paper is choosing and analyzing some critical reform policies.It consists three chapters, the first chapter is an overview of the whole life of Woodrow Wilson. In the second chapter, I will discuss the main three aspects of his high educational ideology, which are “mind to mind”, “education to serve the nation” and “liberal education is the best”; Finally, I will discuss the relationship between his high educational ideology and educational reform policies in chapter three.This article will apply some research techniques of mental analysis and narrative history, in order to represent what Woodrow Wilson did and why he did in Princeton University.
