| The school sports is an important part of school sports work, is a positive factor to promote the school sports teaching and sports training. Through the development of the games can enhance the physical fitness of students, improve the health of students, so as to stimulate students’ physical training enthusiasm. But over the years, high school games often use the traditional ideas, to track and field sports as the main competition, the organization’s management concept has been unable to meet the needs of students physical and psychological development. The competition content and teaching content does not adapt, assessment of incentives and the ways of participation and organization forms of sports teaching reform has not adapted to the new situation demands.In this paper, using the method of literature, questionnaire, expert interview, mathematical statistics research method, the current status of Handan city 10 high school games investigation, analysis and study, and in the light of the problems, combined with domestic and foreign high school games development condition, provides the theory reference for the development of high school sports meeting in Handan city.The research conclusion:1. Handan city high school sports meeting will be held every year, with students as the main participants, the participation rate is not high, some teachers to participate in the competition, on the whole, the sports meeting followed the development mode of sports games, structure is relatively complete and stable, but the lack of change.2.
