The academic assessment is the value judgment activities on the academic performance of students, and scientific and reasonable assessment plays an important role in the development of students. For the college students’ academic assessment, there are mostly researches from the macroscopic view, focusing on the common content of students’ academic assessment. However, the university is teaching in branch form, and different discipline has different culture of discipline. Therefore, the discipline of culture has a certain influence on the academic assessment. There are different academic spirits, values and relatively independent knowledge system in the different disciplines, which must have influences on the learning content, method. Thus it reflects on the goal, function, content and method of academic assessment. Therefore, from the view of culture, research what the influence of the discipline culture on students’ academic assessment is, which is benefit from the specific micro level for deep into the internal subject to discover the difference of its existence, so as to develop student’s academic assessment standard which is adapted to learning for subjects.Using literature method collect the research closely related research results by using the method of documentary. Through the literature search and sorting of the relevant literature, thus, the researcher has a preliminary understanding of ‘the student assessment and discipline culture’, which forms the theory foundation of the research and provides the reference formulation to make interviewing outline. In addition, from the perspective of the specific subject, use interview method to research effects on academic assessment, and from the three dimensions of disciplinary culture- knowledge, discipline, scholars and so on as the basis of theoretical analysis, which is found that the type of physics cultural characteristic is the main to ‘experiment’ and the team cooperation, and the subject of English cultural characteristics thinks the ‘tool’ as the orientation and focus on personal exploration, and mechanical engineering cultural characteristic regards ‘practical’ and to meet the needs as the orientation, and education cultural characteristic treats "think" and inclusive as the major mode, to reflect on the goal, content, function, method of the student academic assessment.Based on this, the conclusion of the study mainly embodies in the following aspects:First of all, in the hard- pure disciplines, physics cultural characteristic of the main to ‘experiment’ and the team cooperation affects on academic student assessment in the following aspects: Academic evaluation target is to cultivate the students’ scientific theoretical knowledge and the ability of experimental operation, at the same time students’ comprehensive ability should be paid attention to. The academic assessment function is to guide, supervise and promote students’ development on their academic performance; The academic assessment content focuses on theory of knowledge, learning interest, attitude and other aspects; academic assessment method is using pencil and paper test way of the form of closed book in the aspects of theoretical knowledge and using experimental manipulations in the experimental ways; In addition, a more flexible way, such as classroom discussion, students’ presentation and other forms will be adopted.Secondly, in the soft- pure disciplines, English cultural characteristics regarding the ‘tool’ as the orientation and focusing on personal exploration affects on academic student assessment in the following aspects: The academic assessment target is the ability to cultivate students’ active learning and solve the problem by using comprehensive language knowledge. And the ability of the listening, speaking, reading and writing and other aspects should be concerned; The academic assessment function is to stimulate the students’ learning motivation, to encourage students’ enthusiasm for learning, and to develop students’ initiative of learning; The academic assessment content is skillfully and appropriately using of English to solve the problem in certain circumstance, and at the same time listening, speaking, reading and writing should be focused on.In addition, English skills, the English national culture as well as the students’ interests are the main aspects of academic assessment; In the aspect of academic evaluation method, the oral examination is the most prominent feature of the language exam. In addition, the process assessment and various students’ performance should be paid attention to.Third, in the hard- application disciplines, mechanical engineering cultural characteristic regards ‘practical’ and to meet the needs as the orientation affects on academic student assessment in the following aspects: Academic assessment goal is to cultivate students’ ability in practical and applicable field and develop students’ spirit of innovation and the practical value of the talents. The academic assessment function is to play a role in guiding and to arouse students’ learning motivation, to cultivating the engineering practice ability of the students. At the same time personality characteristics should be fully developed for every student and finally to promote the development of students; The academic assessment content is professional knowledge the mechanical engineering discipline, drawing, calculation and other necessary basic skills and the ability of self-study and innovation. In addition, emotional needs of students, changes of attitude and the potential development and other aspects of academic evaluation are the important contents; Academic evaluation method is experimental and practical ability of students through the evaluation of actual situation, focusing on the practical ability and practical ability, For the professional theoretical knowledge, the best way is using the method of paper and pencil tests.Finally, in the soft- application disciplines, education cultural characteristic treats ‘think’ and inclusive as the major mode affects on academic student assessment in the following aspects: The academic assessment target is based on whether students are able to describe the phenomenon of education, and whether to use educational knowledge to analyze realistic problems and solve the problems.
