Chinese government always attaches great importance to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students’ education, educational exchanges between four districts and cross straits have been on increase day by day, our government attracts students to study in mainland universities through various preferential policies, the number of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students grows sustainably in mainland universities. Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students management not only influences the effect of students receiving high education in mainland universities but also affects harmonious development between four districts and cross straits’ relation. Due to historical reasons, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students show larger differences from mainland universities’ students in the aspects of values, ideological understanding, personality characteristics and other aspects, it is a serious challenge for mainland universities who lack experience of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students’ management how to manage students well. Therefore, through analyzing and discussing the condition of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students’ management, which contribute to improving the management level in mainland universities, and they also meet the requirements for national development meanwhile satisfy the demand for mainland universities’ development.This article takes Shanghai H University for example, it regards Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students management activity as a research object, it investigates H University’s students’ management by comprehensive application in case study, literature study, interview method and observation method, it analyzes and sums up the basic condition, experience and problem of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan students’ management. Simultaneously, it analyzes the reason of existed problem in students’ management from the national macro-level, university’s intermediate-level and student’s micro-level.The research shows that Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students’ management in mainland universities is affected by not only national policy, managerial research degree and managerial attitude but also managerial systematic structure in universities’ specific management, formulated rules and regulations, managerial staff’s quality and other aspects, at the same time, it is closely linked with the idea and attitude of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students. With the constant-expanding scale of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan’s students in mainland universities, managerial contradictions and problems will increase obviously. This article conforms to national requirements of students’ management, it takes advantage of humanism management theory and cultural identity theory, aims at existed problem and reason of students’ management in mainland universities and seeks for the corresponding improvement strategy from three aspects:Nation, university and individual student.
