The economic development and popularization of higher education at the end of 20th century created new speciality and the primary education speciality arised at this moment. As a "young" speciality in the field of higher education,the undergraduate courses of the primary education speciality is still in the stage of exploration.Based on the characteristics of curriculum of the new speciality, the research analyses the curriculum of the primary education speciality of Shandong province through textual analysis and questionnaire survey and finds some problems in the curriculum of the primary education speciality, such as" the dissatisfaction in course content, the irrational proportion of all kinds of courses, unitary teaching methods, excessive quantitative evaluation" and so on. And then, the research provides some constructive advice and conceives a new curriculum project.The aim of the new curriculum project is to cultivate teachers who have comprehensive quality; the course content is comprehensive and practical; the "wide base, live module" structure is integrated; the curriculum implementation reflects modern philosophy, such as modern teaching methods, double-tutors system and so on;the curriculum evaluation emphasizes developmental, evaluation and diversified evaluation system.In order to guarantee the effective implementation of the curriculum project, the research puts forward some suggestions to the evaluation of the curriculum project sunch as"diversification of evaluation, the combining of self-evaluation and external evaluation, integrated evaluation system" and so on.
