Nowadays,more and more people are devoted to writing geography books.lt is important to know the development history of textbook,which can help people to reduce the similar wrongs.This paper include five chapters:Chapter one:introduction. Describes the research background, research status, significance and innovation of this paper, and define some related concept such as the late Qing Dynasty, the middle school geography textbooks.The second chapter: the geography curriculum. Analysis of setting in the late Qing Dynasty and geography background, mainly carries on the analysis from the late Qing Dynasty, in the late Qing Dynasty, the development situation of social status and status of the three aspects of geography education in the late Qing dynasty. Understand the setting of Geography Curriculum in the late Qing Dynasty in the late Qing Dynasty, get the geography curriculum objectives:to understand the world and their basic knowledge, the formation of patriotism.Chapter third: the status of geography textbooks. Analysis of educational geography textbooks for students in the late Qing Dynasty from the perspective of educational significance for students. Mainly analyzed from three aspects of knowledge system, intellectual education system and ideological education system.The last chapter made a summary for the purposes of this study, which contain its enlightenment, reflection on the article.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the geography textbook with modern textbook system concept, seek advice on modern geography textbooks, and has practical application value.
