Physical fitness problem of student has been one of the hot issues of mutual concern in the country, society, school and family. However, automation, electronic, information life of the state of the normal trend increasingly significant, it is more difficult to improve the human physical health. Especially middle school students, they are the national reserve forces and reserve talented person of development, in the critical period of transition, development and change. National physique monitoring results showed, the health status of student is improved, but it is still not optimistic, especially in student physical reaction of 1 minute sit-ups(girl), and pull-ups(boy), and the two main reaction ability of the body’s core is not optimistic. Based on this, the study focus on the core strength training that is more popular in recent years. Core strength training is on the basis of traditional strength training by creating some non steady state promotes the development of core region of the deep small muscles(including strength, stability and balance exercises, etc.). Today, a lot of core strength is used in training for motor recovery and injury prevention and competitive sports fields, of the space equipment demand is higher, practice has certain difficulty, in the implementation of the students is more difficult. Therefore, the study considers the physical and mental characteristics of the high school student, through the balance mat, Swiss ball and so on which will be under the core concept of unsteady targeted training and sport game, recreational concept organic combination, can be function sport game design based on the core strength, and through the middle school student extracurricular sport activities in the form of a quasi-experimental implement, to verify its effect in improving the middle school student’s core strength, and is in the middle school student’s physical and deals with the influence of the all-round development body and mind.Research is based on the core strength of function sport game design and effect in the high school student as the research object, the research content include function sport game design based on strength and function effect two aspects of sport game. Used in the study of literature to consult and reference for the research achievements of the related content, function sport game design provides scientific theory support and empirical support. Based on the core strength of the middle school student the effect of function sport game design research is through in San He fourth middle school students’ extracurricular activities of quasi-experimental design to complete. Subjects choose the first grade of two board natural classes as the experimental class and that in comparative classes respectively, according to the actual situation of students by gender will each class were divided into 8 groups(male 4 female 4), and based on the core strength of the design of experimental classes used in this study the function sport game to intervene, that in comparative classes use common methods of core strength exercise intervention, experiment, a total of 18 weeks, intervention period for 12 weeks, intervene twice a week. By test and compare the students’ core strength, physical quality, physical and psychological results before and after the experiment. measuring method before, during, and after the experiment and through the descriptive statistics analysis, independent sample T-test and nonparametric test on the test results were analyzed, in order to obtain the effect of the study.Results: ① Design the 12 cases of function sport game. ② Function sport game design and common methods of core strength exercise can improve the core strength in the high school student. The improvement of function sport game is less than common practice(P < 0.05) for the girl’s stomach back stretch ability. But in the other side of the core strength, reaction and the balanced development of the high school student, core strength can be concluded that: the function sport game to improve degree is superior to common practice, especially for men of ability(P < 0.01) and sit and reach ability(P < 0.05) which can improve very obviously, but the common practice method failed to improve men of ability. ③ Function sport game design can improve the middle school students’ physical quality, especially in the dynamic balance ability of the middle school student(P < 0.01) and static balance ability( P < 0.01) and the effect on the ability to respond(P < 0.01) is very significant; ④ Function sport game design can improve the middle school student physical fitness test scores, and except sit and reach ability achievement effect in the reaction degree of the middle school student improve other aspects of the physical quality are better than common core strength training methods, especially in 50 meters in high school students and high school boys on the 1000- meter run, function sport game plays the improving effect before and after the experiment, and the common method of core strength exercise failed to rise to the result that improve. ⑤ Function sport game design can promote the middle school students’ psychological development. It can improve the positive happiness of the high school student(P < 0.01), and reduce the degree of psychological troubles in the high school student(P < 0.05), the middle school students’ physical exercise effect self-evaluation of their appearance effect(P < 0.05), health effect(P < 0.01), the ability to effect(P < 0.01) and fun exercise(P < 0.01) which plays a significant role in promoting. But the common method of core strength exercise doesn’t play a promoting role in the psychological part of the middle school student.Suggestions for applying: making full use of the object of the game strong organization ability, the characteristics of high prestige or expressive types in the name of the group leader or lead the pacesetter assist to organize and implement of the game, to ensure the smooth progress of the game. Game in which can be used between groups or individuals when the challenge to increase cooperation and competition, to satisfy their desire, and to exercise their courage. According to the need of sport game can make group as their will, they can regulate the exercise intensity and entertaining. Game evaluation can take rewards and punishment system, to increase their taking and enterprising spirit, and then it can cultivate their team spirit. In addition, can reasonable use of existing venues and facilities and the common object in real life, and to provide basic guarantee for game development. Pay attention to in the warm-up before the game and relaxed after the end of the game, avoid or reduce sport injuries and lactic acid accumulation.Conclusions: The study design based on the core strength of function sport game, can improve the core strength of middle school student, especially for swivel in succession, crook proneness ability and stomach back stretch ability raise; Improve the physical quality of middle school student, especially for balance(dynamic balance and static equilibrium) and reaction ability enhancement effect significantly; Promote the improvement of middle school student physical fitness test scores, is conducive to improve middle school students physical fitness; Function sports game design can improve the positive happiness of high school student, reduce the degree of psychological troubles in high school student, improve the effect of high school student to exercise their appearance effect, health effects, the self-assessment ability exercise effect and fun. Based on core strength design of function sports game in high school student has the scientific nature, is helpful to promote the comprehensive development of body and mind.
