Musical culture of the Chinese nation is our national treasure and splendid culture. With the trend of global integration and the disappearing regional characteristics, our continuity and transmission of some national musical culture is also threatened. In a conversation with Jiaxing Xie teacher, he once said: “If school education keeps out of cultural heritage, traditional culture is sure to die out.” It is a great expectation of school education for the development of traditional cultural continuity and transmission. If we can bring the parts that are in danger of dying into music teaching, the dilemma will be bound to be improved and eliminated gradually. To proceed from reality, we need to confirm this view by the practice and work of ourselves. The author combing his practical work brouht musical culture in Ping Shan area into the music teaching in Senior High School, which is as the began of practice.Ping Shan has a wealth of mainland culture. Now it have more than 60 types that were put in the national, provincial municipal and county-level intangible cultural heritage in which including 20 kinds of music. However, the implement of the continuity on non-materitage heritage in Ping Shan area remains to be explored and study, and to popularization by seizing the stable platform of school education yet to be carry out. The author will continue this discussion about this feature.This article will begin from three following aspects: the feasibility and the necessity of investigating on that local music culture is brought into school teaching, and the general introduction of the musical culture of Ping Shan area, and the exploring practice of the music teaching in Senior High School.In the first part of the paper the author mainly talks about that the feasibility and the necessity of investigating on the local music culture incorporated into the school teaching. This chapter takes the school teaching as background. It carrys out investigation and research mainly from two aspects of students and teachers, and it contains the feasibility examples of the local music culture incorporated into the school teaching. The first section is that the Ping Shan music culture by combing his own teaching. The second section is based on the author contact with music teachers parts of Hebei Provice. And it talks about the investigation on the practice condition of Hebei around the high school music teachers on the inheritance of music culture of various regions. The last section takes the Luanzhou shadow school curriculum in Longshan primary schools of Luan of Tangshan as an example to study.The second part of this paper is mainly on the outline of part of music culture in Pingshan. This chapter summarizes some current situation of Pingshan music culture and several loacal music culture in Pingshan, including Xi-tone yangko, Yan-ni folk songs, Pingshan silk string, Beiye emperor lift bar, Youjia Zhuang songs, Pingshan pendant, Pingshan dance, Xibai Po “red culture” and so on, which the author learned in the course of investigation. These Pingshan local music culture are briefly introduced in its origin, development, current situation and characteristics.In the third part the athour own exploration and idea on that Pingshan music culture is incorporated into the practice of high school music teaching is summarized and discussed. It begins from the classroom teaching practice, and the extracurricular activity practice, and the other concepton and exploration of Pingshan music culture inheritance practice. The aim of the practice of classroom teaching is to study the music culture of Pingshan area. It takes Yan-ni folk songs and Youjia Zhuang songs as examples respectively for discusstion in a form of classes. The practice of extracurricular activities is mainly talked from the understanding of music culture, which selects October songs performance and Chinese dictation contest to illustrate. In addition, this chapter also presents some other ideas without practice.This paper is a survey of the investigation practice research by the author for a period of time. And it is finished by obtaining relevant information from the investigation, collecting materials, study and other methods, and then by collation and resarch analysis. This paper is not only the author’s own practice and research summary, but also presents an new idea for his own future study work., which may be useful for the music culture heritage of Pingshan.
