Application Study Of Theme Based Instruction Design

Theme-based instruction is one of instruction mode which is available to new curriculum reforming activity .Theme-based instruction application system is used in organizing building learning resource, teaching , instruction plan, and study. But the application and design research aim to thematic instruction for teachers is weak. Although teachers are need to use it. The mainly research work of this thesis include:1.Present the concept of thematic instruction: Thematic instruction is the theme-centered inquiry instruction activities that teacher design, in the activities, through all kinds of inquiry ways and learning resource, student' s cognition transference can be transferred , and student's problem solving skills, independent inquiry skills, and higher thinking skills can be improved. And Thematic instruction is a valid way to integrate student's cognitive objective, behavioral objective, affective objective.2.By the mass papers research and practice investigation for thematic instruction, we present that thematic instruction appears in the form of thematic units, as one integrating ways of curriculum. The elements of the thematic unit is varied as the theme changes, however, the unit is usually organized by four elements: theme, activity, resource, evaluation.3.We present design for theme resource database based, digital thematic unit system platform by the combining of information technology and thematic unit design results, integrating all elements. The system can realize thematic units instruction designing process modularization, thus can also help teacher to do the theme based instruction design optimization, and theme resource can be good for use.4.One thematic unit system platform was designed, ASP technology and SQL technology were used in design of this three layers theme-based software platform to present some key function ,such as thematic unit template establish and the thematic plan edition etc.5.We choose one thematic unit instruction plan example demonstrate the use of digital theme based instruction design platform.
