A Research On The Changes And Adjustments After Ecological Migration In Alxa Right County

Ecological environment directly affects the survival and development of human beings, Ecological environment governance is about the rapid and stable development of national economy and social prosperity. Carrying out the ecological migration project is the most important way to solve the environmental problem in arid regions in West China at present. Now the problem of ecological migrants has aroused widespread concern in society, and as the main object of this project, the livelihoods before and after their immigration has also raised people’s attention.Alxa right county in inner Mongolia, began to put the herdsman who living scattered in desert hinterland to several centralized resettlement point. After regrouping, the herdsmen’s original way of living had fundamentally altered. Based on the depth survey of the herdsmen’s livehood in the Alxa right county, this article tries to explore the changes and issues of migration pastoral’s livelihoods shift under transition from traditional tomodern grassland animal husbandry to modern diversified livelihoods, analysis the variation of living condition under the background of living way transformation. This paper uses relevance theory of subsistential changes to give a detailed descriptive analysis of my research point, combines with relevant information and data to evaluate research points through different views, contrasts the policy and reality to find the problems of ecomigration. and introspects the livehood changes during ecomigration, and attempts to supply relevant experience for the government in drawing-up and practicing the continuing immigration policy.In this paper, the first chapter is the introduction, mainly elaborated the article’s origin, significance, research status at domestic and overseas, the research purpose and method. The second chapter is summarized for regional situation, the causes and process of immigration. The third chapter focus on the various performance and reason of the herdsmen livelihood strategy, the fourth chaper and fifth chaper analyzes the ecological aspects of immiggrant life and the concept of adjustmengt. The sixth chapter evaluates the benefit of ecomigration. The seventh chapter provides reasonable suggestions for ecological emigration.
