| Athletics is the foundation stone of modern sports, not only is the foundation of competitive sports, and is an important project and means of the national fitness sports and school sports. It develops by the most basic physical activity form of human being, such as walking, running, jumping, throwing. With the development of the political and economic, it becomes the competitive activity which is been paid attention and advocated by the people all over the world. Because of the basic role of track and field, the teaching of it has been always occupied the largest proportion in the school sports education and national physical exercise standard, has dominant in the school sports education.In 2002, the ministry of education enacted the "national ordinary university sports curriculum guidelines", raised a hot wave of college sports reform, "lifetime sports" "health first" "sunshine sports" "happy sports", physical education curriculum has been changed from the teaching guiding ideology to the teaching method and evaluation, reform plan emerge in endlessly and make a big bang. Under the influence of many factors, the track and field course of universities encountered the "Waterloo" in the reform of sports teaching, the track and field course has gradually disappeared in college PE class. Of course, there is no denying that the use of these reform measures make the university sports curriculum content and form more rich, the whole atmosphere of college sports more dynamic, for the development of the theory and practice of the school PE curriculum, it has played a certain promoting role.This research adopts the questionnaire investigation method, makes a investigation to 20 average college’s present teaching situation of track and field in Nanjing. The results show that all of the school which has been invested are not opening the track and field course in the public physical education courses. One of the main reason which the college track and field course is difficult to carry out is:in 2002, after the implementation of "outline", track and field course is no longer the required course, college sports start option. Compared with other sports, the track and field sports’ entertainment is not strong, the emergence of elective system, the project which has strong entertaining caused a great impacted on the track and field teaching. In this paper, the author studies from the opening current situation of track and field course of common colleges in Nanjing, analyzes the influential elements of the track and field teaching, appeal to the media, schools should give policy support. School sports should make the "athletics" as the topic, around the colorful forms and content, such as school sports, college sports, athletics commentator, track and field referee, track and field fitness lectures, posters, club and so on, to carry out related activities of track and field, promote the formation of the atmosphere and culture of college track and field, cast away most of the traditional athletic sports, absorb what is the best for open the individual projects of track and field teaching, according to the needs of student expand the course content of college track and field, in order to make the common colleges track and field course and culture get more comprehensive and sustainable development. |
