Conceptual knowledge is an important foundation for learning, in a sense, the most knowledge that students learn belongs to conceptual knowledge. But the research about this kind of knowledge is scattered and fragmented, in the actual teaching process, the teacher abbreviated even ignored this kind of knowledge, the Students also thought narrowly that as long as the concepts and principles of the book were leaned by rote is to acquire conceptual knowledge. In order to help teachers and students to solve problems in the teaching practice, this article extended a comprehensive,systematic analysis by using the literature research method, classroom observation method, questionnaire investigation and comparative analysis etc. To guide the people to be more comprehensive and thorough understanding of conceptual knowledge,promote students to grasp the knowledge faster and more effective,meanwhile,by a further exploration of the conceptual knowledge of teaching strategies,suggestions would be provided for teaching methods,teaching effectiveness could be improved at last.The full text is divided into five parts. From the connotation,structure and characteristics of the conceptual knowledge to the study of its learning mechanism,the teaching strategies were completed finally.The first part is about understanding of the connotation of the concept of knowledge. Through the combing of the intension of concept and concept of knowledge,the connotation of the concept of knowledge was summarized from three aspects. This would lay the groundwork for later research.The second part is a detailed overview of the structure and characteristics of concept knowledge. the structure of conceptual knowledge was analyzed from classification, relationship and level, then the differences between conceptual knowledge and other types of knowledge were distinguished, on the basis of the above analysis, the six characteristics were summarized: the large number base,diversity of characterization,static,complexity of the structure,diversity of understanding,development of the content; secondly, which laid the theoretical foundation for further research.In the third part,the learning mechanism was studied though three aspects which are learning conditions,learning process and learning strategy,the model map of learning process was constructed,three stages of learning strategies were put forwarded.In the fourth part, the teaching problems of conceptual knowledge were summarized through the using of classroom observation method and questionnaire investigation,meanwhile,its reasons were also analyzed initially.In the fifth part,in order to provide some guidance for the teachers’ teaching practice,on the basis of above analysis,teaching strategies of the concept of knowledge were put forwarded from four aspects.
