| According to the traditional human capital theory, education can increase the female human capital stock, help women get better job. But in the stage of rapid urbanization in China, the concentration ofemploymentpopulation and the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure make female employment structural imbalance in the background of the better female education status. In order to adapt to the characteristics of the rapid urbanization’s development, and ease women’s employment pressure, so as to enhance the women’s competitiveness of employment in society, putting forward countermeasures and suggestions to make female education and employment level develop balanced is very necessary. This paper, by the concrete index division of urban women’s education and employment level, and through the time series and panel data regression analysis, explores the total impact on the education and employment level of urban women, as well as the impact of regional differences, to provide reasonable suggestions for realizing full employment of urban women.First of all, this paper based on the summary of domestic and foreign literature, through the bibliometric analysis method, determines the evaluation index of urban women’s education and employment level, and explained the theory, otherwise, the education level index years of education, public education investment and the enrollment rate, and employment index includes the employment rate, employment structure and income.Secondly, based on the "Statistical Yearbook", "Chinese Statistics Yearbook", "China Labor Statistics Yearbook", "Educational Statistics Yearbook" and the state statistical yearbooks of 2003-2012 nearly 10 years, collecting data of indexes, and using the method of time series analysis, the paper analyses the relationship of the urban women’s education level and employment level in the nationwide, and get the conclusion as follows:the years of education, the public investment in education and high school, university enrollment rate have an positive impact on urban female employment rate and wage income in varying degrees, and years of education, high school and university enrollment rate of female employment have also a certain role in the industry upgrading.Thirdly, to further analysis of employment effect of urban women’s education level, this paper divided our country into three regions,including East, Center, West, using the method of regression analysis of panel data, analysis the regional differences, and draws the following conclusions:on one hand, the years of education, public education expenditure, and high school, university enrollment rate have an positive effect on employment rate and wage income of the three regions, what’s more, the influence degree increased gradually from the East to the West; On the other hand, years of education and university enrollment rate play a certain role in female employment industrial structure transfer in the three region, but public education investment and high school enrollment rates have only an positive impact on in the employment structure adjustment of the Center and West.Finally, based on the national and regional analysis results about the empirical employment effect of urban women’s education level, compared with the present situation of urban women’s education and employment status, this paper puts forward to some relevant countermeasures and suggestions, including urging the urban female education match the level of employment, increasing investment in education to enhance the urban female human capital stock, according to the regional differences to improve urban women’s education level by multi ways and adjustment the employment structure, broadening the urban women’s employment channels. |
