In modern society, speech and eloquence are recognized as one of the essential qualities of people. In the first place, "learn to speech" is requested by the new curriculum standard of high school language; Also, "speech and debate" is set up in the elective module; Additionally, Speech is one of the most significant parts of the various version of Chinese Textbooks. What’s the most vital is that in some of the Chinese textbooks, speech is regarded as an independent unit separately. Therefore, there is no doubt that speech teaching occupies a vital position in Chinese teaching. However, because of the influence of exam-oriented education system, it is difficult to take speech into the Gaokao extent, which leads to barely attention paid on speech skill teaching. The speech style is ignored normally and students’ speech level can’t be actually improved. Considering the present situation, although, many experts and research work on it. There is barely relative study focus on Chinese language teaching. At the same time, considering the importance of speech, teaching situation and research status is not so ideal. This study is mainly about a system research of high school Chinese Speech Teaching.This paper is started with the introduction part, which followed by the main body. The conclusion part comes last.Firstly, the reason of choose this topic, the present situation and the method will be included in the induction part. Then, the reason and importance of high school speech teaching will be specified in the second chapter. In the third chapter, the present situation of high school speech teaching will be displayed from the angle of ‘teacher、student and text book”, which tells the mainly problems exist and the reasons. Also, in the next part, the study will give the solution of how to improve the high school speech teaching from the teaching goal、content、method and feedback four aspects. In the end, give the recommendation of improving the high school speech teaching level and quality.
